CREATE DATE : Mindful Mandalas Workshop
Wed MARCH 25th, 11 am – 1 pm at Bodenham Arboretum, Sladd Lane, Wolverley, Kidderminster, DY11 5TB
Join us for a morning of calm creativity in the beautiful Lakeside Room at Bodenham Arboretum. It’s a stunning location and perfect for a morning of mindful making.
Rich in symbolism, “Mandala” comes from a sanskrit word meaning circle. These ancient patterns are found in many different cultures representing unity & harmony between the inner being and the outer world.
In this relaxing, creative workshop, Jana will lead you through simple geometric drawing techniques to help you explore mandala making with a pencil and compass.
Lose yourself in this meditative process, growing your design from the centre out as you relax and contemplate the connection between your inner and outer worlds.
We’ll show you some simple ways to add colour for super satisfying results and you’ll be able to frame your masterpieces to take away.
This is an uplifting, beginner friendly creative session, with two hours tuition, all materials and tools provided for use during the workshop and hot / cold drinks included.
Tutors Lisa and Claire are qualified teachers, who have been running creative and crochet workshops since 2014 helping people to learn new craft skills and relax with mindful making. Jana is an experienced mandala artist ready to guide you through your session.
£30 pp includes:
* Two hours of relaxed, mindful making.
* Everything you need to learn to draw your own mandala artworks which you will frame to take away.
* A hot / cold drink.
* A big smile of satisfaction!
We look forward to welcoming you to an absorbing, colourful workshop of mindful mandala making this March!
